Our franchisees all have a passion for education and for working with young people, whether that be as a teacher, guidance counselor, youth minister or coach.
What personality attributes does a Class 101 franchisee need?
We are looking for team members with the entrepreneurial spirit and self-direction to follow our proven business model as they bring Class 101 to their community. Franchisees need to be flexible and willing to work in the afternoons and evenings to accommodate meeting with teenagers, as well as have a passion for guiding young people. Individuals who are strong communicators, articulate, organized, patient, outgoing and positive are all ideal candidates for running a Class 101.
How do you define territories?
Our territories are based on a population base of about 250,000, which averages out to include six to eight high schools. In larger metropolitan areas, such as Nashville, Tennessee, (which has a population of 600,000) there may be room for multiple franchisees.
Do you offer tutoring services?
No, although we do help students focus on grades and help build good study habits. We do not offer traditional tutoring services. We do offer ACT and SAT prep workshops.
What kind of franchises do you offer?
We have three models of franchises: single owner; team franchise (two planners); and educational centers (multiple planners). The model is up to you; the franchise fee is the same for each model.
Do you help franchisees win business?
We provide franchisees with everything they need to market themselves and network in their communities.
How many employees do I need?
To operate a Class 101 franchise, you can start alone without other employees. We guide you through the process and provide you with all the materials needed to provide Class 101 services in a professional and expert manner.
Do you offer training and support?
Class 101 has a thorough training platform that includes how to manage every aspect of your business. New franchisees go through a week-long training session at our home office in Lexington, Kentucky, and may bring one support staff team member. We will be on hand to guide you through the entire process of launching your Class 101 office to ensure that you have everything you need to make your new business a success from day one.
